This is a one-on-one darkroom workshop held at the instructor's home and darkroom. First we will spend an evening looking at prints, both yours and ours. Then the student will select a couple of previously unprinted images from the instructor's proof prints and we will spend a day in the darkroom printing both these and a couple of the student's negatives. We will print as many images as time allows. At a third and final session we will mount the prints and do a general wrap up. Finally the student and instructor will exchange prints.
Scheduling for this workshop is flexible. For those who are local to the Bay Area, it can be spread over a week or more. For those coming from some distance it could be done as a Friday, Saturday, Sunday operation. As there will be only two people involved, the exact dates can be set to whenever is mutually agreeable.
